What is Light Therapy?

In the old days, masks were first utilized to hide an individual's identity. These days, masks of the cosmetic kind do the opposite: reveal true skin in all its glory.

LED face masks are all the rage these days, and for a good reason. These luminescent masks utilize the power of UV-free, non-thermal light emitting diodes (LEDs) that release long wavelengths of light to penetrate the skin’s layers. Unlike the sun’s UV rays, these close-to-natural light waves do not damage the skin but instead help activate photoreceptors that stimulate the skin’s natural processes - including collagen production.

LED light treatment was first used by NASA in the 1990s for plant growth experiments in space and later on, as a way to reduce the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation treatment among cancer patients. Today, phototherapy is quickly becoming a cosmetic crowd favorite especially when it comes to skin aging and rejuvenation.

The Project E Beauty, equipped with 102 + 40 high-intensity LED lights, is an all-in-one beauty device that maximizes all the benefits of photon light therapy. This LED face mask uses the latest in light irradiation technology with 5 levels of intensity to help address a myriad of skin concerns, from dry to acne-prone skin.

What makes this device different from other brands in the market is the built-in neck panel with 40 LED lights. As with any part of the body, the exposed skin on the neck also goes through the aging process. Project E Beauty recognizes this concern. No need for separate treatments for the neck, this skin rejuvenation mask is all you’ll ever need.

No annoying cables, the LED mask features a wireless design which makes it convenient to use just about anywhere. It is also easy to bring along during travels with its lightweight and portable design. At 269 grams, the latest version is made 50% lighter than the previous design for added comfort and portability.

With 7 LED Colors for Different Skin Conditions

Project E Beauty’s Photon Skin Rejuvenation Face & Neck Mask features 7 visible light colors that cater to specific skin concerns and issues. Choose your skin fighter:

  • Red Light - the anti-aging and wound healing hue; promotes increased blood flow and collagen production
  • Blue Light - the antibacterial light, great for acne; regulates oil production
  • Green Light - the color that lightens; improves pigmentation as well as fine lines
  • Yellow Light - the deep-penetrating light; hydrates and smoothens skin
  • Purple Light - the anti-wrinkle; promotes cell renewal and improves lymph drainage
  • Light Blue Light - the soothing kind; calms skin allergies and inflammation
  • NEW White Light - the all-in-one light; enhances nutrient absorption

How to Use

Because beauty should not be complicated, the LED skin treatment mask is created with your convenience in mind. It’s very easy to use.

Before wearing the mask, make sure to cleanse and dry the skin thoroughly. Put on the mask and press the power button, and then the start/stop button to begin. For beginners, start with the lowest intensity level and gradually adjust to higher levels as your skin gets used to the therapy. Sit back and relax while the mask does its work, for 10 to 15 minutes. It is recommended that you stay still to prevent the mask from slipping off while in treatment. The device will automatically shut off once the timer is over.

For best results, apply Project E Beauty’sHyaluronic Acid Serum after the treatment. Do this 3x a week and see amazing results.

The Benefits of Using LED Masks

Regular use of the LED light mask has proven to shrink pores, control oil production, fade dark spots and blemishes, tighten skin, smooth fine lines and wrinkles, brighten complexion, and so much more.

If you’re not currently suffering from any common skin condition, the skin rejuvenation face and neck mask will still prove to be a great addition to your beauty arsenal. The red light that stimulates collagen production benefits all skin types. More collagen means younger-looking skin - smoother and plumper with just the right kind of glow.
