Hitman 3 contains a multitude of weapons to assist Agent 47 in his lethal line of work, but not all these deadly tools are created equal. Some are weak, too noisy, or impractical, while others are incredibly powerful silent killing machines. The Sieger 300 Ghost fits firmly in this latter category, and is generally regarded by players as the best gun in the game, or at least Hitman's best sniper rifle.

It's unlocked by completing the Cheveyo Calibration in Marrakesh, and while it's similar to other Sieger rifles, its subsonic perk makes its shots whisper-quiet - perfect for stealthy assassinations. If you want to get your hands on this rare and powerful gun, you're in luck - this guide will walk you through how to complete the Cheveyo Calibration and unlock the Sieger 300 Ghost.
Before You Jump In
There are a few key things to know about the Cheveyo Calibration before getting started. In order to be able to play the escalation, you'll need to have access to it. It was a part of the free House Built on Sand DLC for Hitman 1, so you'll need to have owned Hitman 1, or purchased the DLC to access Hitman 1 content inside of Hitman 3.
The Cheveyo Calibration is an escalation, meaning it works like a contract with three increasingly complex stages. You're given your targets and some additional conditions to meet, and upon completing the mission, you repeat it with more targets or conditions.
Notably, one of the Cheveyo Calibration's conditions is that you cannot change your starting disguise, which means anyone who spots you carrying the sniper rifle will instantly alert a guard. This means stealthy movement will be the key strategy for completing the mission.
As for the equipment you'll bring with you, the only necessities are a lockpick and a silenced pistol (the quieter the better). Some coins may also be useful, but they're not vital as you can use items found within the map as distractions whenever you need to divert an NPC's attention.
Stage 1
Stage 1 of the escalation asks you to kill two targets - Nour Jourmari and Sara Zitouna - using the Sieger 300 Ghost, which you must retrieve from a location on the map. You can retrieve the rifle just around the corner from your starting point, inside a small storage room.
Be careful about exiting the room - once you're carrying the rifle, anyone who sees you with it will know you're up to no good. There's a rooftop nearby you can get to to use as a vantage point, but two guards stand in your way.
Fortunately, there's a wrench inside this storage room. Pick it up, open the door, and throw it against the back wall. Once you do so, climb inside the chest and wait for the guard to come in. Once he enters and passes you, climb out of the chest and approach him from behind to knock him out. Hide his body in the chest and leave the room.
The other guard moves around, but wait until he's at the end of the street out the door to the right, so you can just throw the wrench from cover to knock him out and hide his body with the other guard.
You're now free to move past where the second guard was standing and turn left, where you'll find a locked shop. Use the lockpick to enter, and sneak past the worker to the staircase - you might have to wait until he's facing away from the door. When moving to the door, there's a woman in a stall down the street who can spot you, so wait until she moves away.
Once upstairs, don't move too far - there are guards patrolling this rooftop, but you don't need to bother dealing with them. The two targets are on a rooftop south of yours, so make sure there are no guards right next to you, then emerge from the staircase enough to get a clean shot at your marks. The Sieger is quiet enough that you don't need to worry about guards hearing you. Once the targets are dead, drop the sniper and make your way to the exit.

Stage 2
Stage 2 is almost identical to Stage 1, except with an added restriction: if you're spotted doing anything illegal, you won't just be targeted by guards, you'll fail the mission on the spot. Fortunately, our existing route avoided being spotted, so you can simply repeat exactly what you did in Stage 1 for Stage 2.
Stage 3
While Stage 2 was similar to Stage 1, Stage 3 mixes things up completely, adding five additional targets - Aitor Ibirika, Arey Seoane, Damien Abergel, Dubaku Dufort, and Hamza Diwan. These five don't need to be killed with the Sieger, however, so you have a bit more flexibility in how you eliminate them.
Fortunately, our route from previous rounds still works, so we'll start off with that to get Jourmari and Zitouna out the way. Once they're down, drop the sniper and pull out your pistol. The first of the five new targets is Ibirika, the guard who you had to avoid while sniping, so wait for him to take his post by the staircase, then take him out from behind as he walks away. You can hide him in the nearby chest if you want, but it's not essential.
The next new target is the other guard on the rooftop Seoane, but before dealing with him it's a good idea to knock out the civilian on the roof, to prevent any alarms being raised if he sees something or finds a body. Catch him away from the remaining guard and knock him out (there's a wrench on the washing machine in the lower area of the roof if you need it).
After that, wait until the second guard is at his post facing away from you, then move to a point where you're able to get an angle on Seoane from behind and eliminate him. Hiding the bodies on the roof doesn't matter at this point, as no one will come up here to find them.
Third up is Diwan, who waits in the other staircase down from the roof. Make your way down, peek around the corner while he's facing away, and deal with him. Last up is Dufort and Abergel, the two guards in the room at the bottom of this staircase. They're easily dealt with from behind on the stairs, so quickly shoot them back-to-back.
With Dufort and Abergel dead, all seven targets have been taken down. Holster your gun, walk out the front door, and make your way to the exit.
After finishing Stage 3 with the described route, not only will you have completed the Cheveyo Calibration, you'll have done so with a Silent Assassin rating - the best possible outcome. This will net you plenty of XP, and even some achievements if you don't already have them.
The main reward is of course the Sieger 300 Ghost, which you'll be able to head straight to the Career tab to see, under Inventory. You'll be able to bring it with you on missions from now on, and having gotten a taste of the weapon's power during the escalation, it's not hard to imagine how much easier missions are with the best gun in Hitman 3 in your arsenal.
